Careers are at the heart of our proposal

The Mornington Peninsula Technology, Industry and Business Park is a concept I’ve been working on since 2015. It’s much more than an industrial precinct; it is a high-amenity, low-density business park that is genuinely world-class.

I am passionate about improving my hometown’s infrastructure and career development opportunities. Growing up on the Mornington Peninsula, I’ve witnessed firsthand the lack of opportunities for young people looking to enter the workforce and pursue meaningful careers.

I started my business career in a garage on Bungower Road twenty years ago. Alongside my father, we worked tirelessly to build the family business from the ground up, ultimately growing our company to become the leading manufacturer of marine and aviation navigation aids that are now used in over 150 countries. Although we eventually sold Sealite, I remained committed to supporting the local economy and creating new opportunities for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

In my time spent within the Mornington Peninsula community and through my experiences as a business owner, I have come to appreciate the local needs and broader opportunities. One such opportunity is the potential for a high-amenity business park in the area. Envisioning a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, I believe this park could foster new job creation and contribute to sustainable economic growth. Our proposed development aims to offer young people in the area access to the latest technology, guidance from seasoned professionals, and a nurturing community of peers who share their aspirations.

I am excited to share that our proposal is now open for public exhibition, and I would love your support.
